David Cakes buddy Claire Lomax shares her story after battling with cancer and she performs a ‘Hippy Chick’ version and ‘The Movie’ version of Forever Free composed by David Cakes. Liverpool guitarist Tony Rubio accompanied Claire’s vocals, with David Cakes on Tambourine. David Cakes co-produced this acoustic version of ‘ Forever Free’ with Billy Kinsley (Liverpool Express / The Merseybeats. When Dave & Claire met in 2001, he felt that Claires strong & emotional voice was perfect for this version of the ‘Forever Free’ that he originally wrote in 1999…..
