I’m a producer and I’ve got a PC with FL Studio 9, virtual synths, samples and Pioneer HDJ-1000 Headphones. I don’t need more stuff at all to be a professional producer. But of course more money means more possibilities. But it’s more important with money if you wanna be a DJ than if you wanna be a producer.

Actually, im a producer DJ and I dont suffer at all…
January 30th, 2010 at 10:01 pm
Yea thats a little bit off…
If you spend any less than 300 bucks on each turntable, then you are getting garbage and itll break within a week.
Speakers are the only place you can cut corners and be alright.
A mixer, and 2 turntables, for a beginning dj, should run you about $1,000 or else you wont be able to develop your skills and will suffer with poor equipment.
DJing is not a cheap hobby.

Okay speakers should cost 100 bucks, turn tables are like 50 bucks, and a mixer is another 50.
January 30th, 2010 at 10:01 pm
