Every week in this show, the couples, comprised of professional ball room dancers and celebrities, perform a piece that is then rated by a panel of judges. After all of the dancing and voting are done, the couple who has the lowest combined score, including both that of the judges and the viewing audience, is disqualified. The History
The US show: Dancing With the Stars was inspired originally by the UK television hit, Strictly Come Dancing. Dancing With the Stars is currently in its seventh season, and there does not appear to be any signs of this smash hit coming to an end any time soon. The judges include Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. Goodman and Tonioli are also judges for the UK show, which means they commute between LA and London weekly!

The Dancing With the Stars Tour began on December 17, 2008, and will visit no less than thirty seven cities before it closes in February, 2009. Also performing will be Olympic gold medalist Maurice Green, along with Academy Award winning actress Marlee Matlin.
